When the second one is uncorrupted, do they possess the power to heal the cursed elves or does this happen in Price of Courage? I'm just curious and haven't gotten all the way through the module yet.

One by itself doesn't, which is reason enough to go and purify the other one. However, in Price of Courage, the heroes are tasked with taking the tears of Mishakal to Kalaman and hand them over to the Church of Mishakal. If they want to go south and retrace their steps back to Pashin, that's going to be mentioned as a possible sideline thing, but the heroes will move on to much more pressing things to do in the third adventure.
