I'll probably get shot for this:

But has anyone considered adding the magic of incarnum to athas. It would seem like a good fit for "magic" pulled from the gray.

Some changes in appearance and description would be called for, but I think it could work.

Opinions?

I have the book but haven't read it yet (still devouring Hyperconscious, heh heh). How heavily linked to alignments is incarnum magic? I've read a fair bit about the connection between alignment and the various incarnum classes. I don't use alignment in my DS games and was wondering if that might cause any hiccups...

(Off-topic: Just noticed your avatar is from the cover of "Ship of Horrors" - one of my all-time fave Ravenloft adventures. Nice one ...)

There was another thread a few weeks back on integrating Incarnum into Athas, look for it.

Yeah it is (except for the Totemist), but it shouldn't be too hard to attach or even give an elemental/paraelemental twist instead.
