#1twin_campaignsNov 24, 2005 10:36:33 | My group is in Ethengar at the present. I've never played Ethengar as it is made in Gazetteers, and I've also never played Heldann as the Knight state. The Ethengar Gazetteer of course portrays Heldann as the Freeholds of Alatian communities, as the Heldannic Order hadn't yet been invented. I need quick tips on the relationships between Gazetteer-Ethengar and VotPa-Heldann. How would you describe them? Of course the previous Great Khan Toktai destroyed Hayavik, but that was before the time of the Heldannic Knights Gazetteer introduces the Heldannic League, but that doesn't work as it is anymore, as it is based on the Freeholds idea. The hunted rebels of Heldann don't have time for terrorist strikes against the Khan. Do you think that the relationship is very volatile as in Gazetteer? (Heldannan settlers butchered only 4 years ago) Or is it just a bit tense? Have the Knights engaged in any battles with the Ethies? Are there fanatic Vanyan terrorists in the Court? And to be precise: I need answers regarding 1000 AC. I could of course rummage through the material available on Heldann, but right now I don't have any time for rpg reading. Please help me! |

Both are bent on conquest, and the HK are also religious fanatics. When there's a strong Khan, the HK and Ethengar will be warring more or less explicitly. When there's no strong Khan, the HK may attempt to proselitize among the tribes. While terrorism per se is not likely, retaliatory strikes by the Luftflotte against raiding Ethengarian clans are not unlikely, IMO. Attempts at punitive expeditions by the HK army are not likely to succeed, so they might have attempted once or twice in the past, but are not going to waste more resources (just like the Glantrians). |
