Location of Amber Wastes, G'Henna and such...

Dec 13, 2005 0:17:51 I may be stupid, or maybe everyone is crazy or something... But does anyone have the specific locations (or are there specific locations) for The Amber Wastes, G'Henna, and such from the Ravenloft book? I went through the players handbook and found a bunch that were listen when you read but not on the maps, and now I'm confused. Thanks.

Dec 13, 2005 3:42:13 The domains you refer to are either "clusters" or "islands of terror". Basically, you have the (more or less stable) "core" (which can be seen on the maps) which is surrounded by the mists. Now, floating in those mists are the clusters and islands. Their location isn't precise because there is a certain amount of randomness involved. That said, there are certain "paths" (aka Mistways) that allow you to travel to certain clusters/islands with a decent chance of reaching your expected destination. All this is explained in details on p.126-127 of the RLPHB.

Dec 13, 2005 10:09:06 I'd be more considered new to the boards, Ravenloft player for about 2 or 3 years. Just never knew of these places. I thought they were hiding somewhere but I wasn't sure. Thanks for covering it for me.
