Hello,

I picked up a copy of Dragonlance Classics 15th Anniversary from a used books store and it is missing the maps. Besides buying a download copy from RPG Now is there anywhere else that I could get copies of the maps for free?

Thanks,
Homer

There's only one pull-out map in the book, and it's a basic map of Ansalon which you should be able to find anywhere online, with a map of Pax Tharkas on the other side. Throw "ansalon map" and "pax tharkas map" into Google and you get a number of good results. The 15th anniversary book was smart in that all of the important maps were included in the book itself, not as removable pages.

Any idea when the new war of the lance editions will be out?

I saw an ad online for something called Dragons of Autumn. Is this a reprint of Dragons of Autumn Twilight or is this something new?

Thank you,

It will be an adventure product that updates and revises the classic modules DL1-DL4 for D&D 3.5. No date has been set on release.

It is supposed to come out mid 2006. What a wonderful year for the lance!

I was impressed with all the new products scheduled for 2006.

I am thinking of buying a copy of War of the Lance. I just want to know if the book has information on how to create adventures and run a campaign during this period without using the Heroes from the chronicles.

Thank you,
Homer

It has an extensive geography section with hundreds of suggestions for adventures, as well as information on the progression of the War, the units and troops and movement of the various forces, some example conflicts with which you can base a campaign around, a new core class (the master), several new prestige classes (including the handler and the gnomish tinker), spells, magic items, and a lot of other useful character building and campaign building features.

It will not lay out the entire course of Chronicles for you - that's what the campaign adventure trilogy beginning with Dragons of Autumn will do. You will not have to use the Heroes of the Lance to enjoy Dragons of Autumn.

This is perfect for the campaign I have in mind. I am hoping to start the characters off at first level before the war and once Dragons of Autumn arrives they should be about the level the heroes were in the Chronicles.
