Does anyone have the Spell Compendium- Santa brought me my copy and it is sweet.

Sage- there are some wicked-cool spells that are begging to be added to your elemental cleric spell list in here (just a FYI).

Looking over this book has made me think about the Preservers. Before the Cleansing Wars, Rajaat tried to wipe them out- but what happened to their stuff? Sure, most of it was more then likely either destroyed in the fighting or is currently sitting in the SK's pesonal library's- but I am sure that some of it had to be hidden.

Anyone have some ideas for a location that would make a hook to an adventure. I have Mage Home as an secret arcane school in my campaign (for the Arcane Specialists PrC I made) but was wondering if anyone else had decided to stash a trove of arcane lore somewhere and how they did it. Who protects it- some undead preserver who vowed to guard it with their life (and beyond). Maybe the preservers made a pact with a clan of dwarves to protect the knowledge and the protectors are now a pack of dwarven banchees.

Anyone have ideas or thoughts?

Thanks for the tip! :D

My players found an ancient book of elven magic quite a while ago. The fighter has been lugging it around in his pack and hasn't shown it to anyone, because the halfling cleric told him what it was. The bard in the party is interested in magic, but hasn't had the chance to learn any yet and would go crazy over the book if he knew about it (in characer). So far the fighter has only shown him one of the other books the party got at the same time, a book about alchemy. Still interesting for a bard, but not to the level of a spellbook. Things are starting to get pretty comical because the fighter is now being taught how to read by two characters in the party, the bard and cleric. He may end up being the 1st character to read the spellbook. But, things should be getting even more interesting now. He has returned home finally (accident with a Nomad started his adventure) and his old girlfriend who he hasn't seen in almost a year is in trouble and need of rescuing. I'm sure he'll be flabbergasted if and when he discovers she's a Preserver.

Thats cool- the group I am running right now does not have an arcane spell user currently- he died in a firey explosion unleashed by a defiler :evillaugh

The PCs running in my game are a dwarf cleric 7/psion (egoist) 1, a human fighter 7, a mul gladiator 6, and a human psion (kineticist) 7. They are working for Korgunard who sent them to Tyr to aid some of his other allies (the Tyrian Conspiracy).

I am hoping to take the PCs to another map section made by Bian and to the CbtSS to uncover some additional material to aid Korgunard in his research and as a hook for the DA adventures later.
