#1zombiegleemaxDec 27, 2005 8:01:58 | Yeah. So. How many levels/stages of a totem can a dragon benefit from? I mean, is a single dragon limited to the benefits from, at most, 10 stages of a totem? Or is there no theoretical limit? I remember there being mention somewhere that maybe Onyx had more than one totem, one of them being a back-up or something. So could a dragon conceivably have any number of totems, receiving the benefits from them all at the same time? Or would it be limited to a single totem at a time (the totem in turn being limited to a complete 10-stage totem), with back-ups possible should the primary totem be lost or desstroyed? and for that matter, will it ever say anywhere just how poerful the totems are for the living (and major deceased) overlords and just what kind of power boost they received from them? nic |

An overlord can theoretically only benefit from a 10-stage totem and no more than that. Theoretically. Sable did spend a lot of time trying to get around a lot of things, but I believe her spare totems were just that - backups in case her primary one was destroyed. She wasn't adding them all together. and for that matter, will it ever say anywhere just how poerful the totems are for the living (and major deceased) overlords and just what kind of power boost they received from them? Well, you're going to find out all about Frost's skull totem in Price of Courage. The others, I doubt you'll get more detailed information about, but it might be interesting to see what they're like.
