Very Very Unlikely....
Spelljammer while it has fans (who often boarder on the fanatic) was never all that popular. Ships in space was probably a bit too cheesy for most folks.
Pitty really it did have some neat ideas.

The only official settings that WotC supports are Forgotten Realms and Eberron (and Greyhawk minimally).

Sovreign Stone Press (I think) produces Dragonlance Campaign Setting.

Sword & Sorcery Studios produced a quality line of Ravenloft products, including a new Campaign Setting and related material, but the license recently reverted back to WotC with no announced plans.

The other Campaign Settings (Mystara, Dark Sun, Spelljammer, etc) have not been officially produced. Search around the "Other Roleplaying Worlds Boards" on these very message boards for information on the "official" fan sites. In addition, I think Dragon Magazine did conversion update articles for both Dark Sun and Spelljammer but I'm not sure as I dislike both settings and wouldn't have read the articles.

I think official support from WotC (other than an article in Dragon) for Spelljammer is pretty much dead. However, here the fanbase is keeping it alive for 3E.

Things should be picking up again now that the holiday season madness is behind us (I had hoped to get stuff done over the holidays, but you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice & men...;) ).

It the latest Dragon Magazine, they did have some spelljammer content, but the magazine looked more like a look back at old products then anything.

This is on a lot of our minds and discussed on a lot of threads. I hope it happens but expect that it won't. Shame really. All these old settings deserve at least one book, but I suspect that they fear that this would detract from their currently supported settings. Which is odd, as this causes players to seek out and convert older material which WotC makes no money on (unless you download a PDF).

This has me thinking: has anyone ever done a poll on the web along the lines of "Which setting do you play in?" Just to see how many players are playing in official campaign worlds, D20 campaign worlds (i.e. unofficial), customized old campaign worlds or totally homemade campaigns.

Myself, I've been running my own campaign world for about 16 years, but I incorporated elements of other worlds, with Spelljammer being the link to them all. I'm a player in my best friends' campaign and have been involved in that for the past 16 years as well. I've ran an FR campaign and I'm a player in a converted Mystara/Glantri campaign.

Neverness,

I'm with you. As part of my campaign, I have a portion where the party has has most of their action in Faerun, but then have to shoot over to the old Greyhawk to visit the Tomb of Horrors. They get wind of a portal between the two worlds only to find it destroyed. Then they find out that there's a magic ship that can take them there.........

Anyway, while Spelljammer is a small portion of the whole campaign, it's an interesting part. So you'd hope they might bring at least that one back.
