Right.
I'm an old-school DM (been playing off an on for over 20 years). We're just starting up a new Dark Sun 'campaign', we may stop after Freedom, but not sure. I've never opened any of the newer versions of the D&D rules (going to be using 2nd Ed.), and don't really plan to (at least not yet).

To the point then, I'm looking for any sites that have photos, or images of the Athasian geography. I've found one so far, http://www.members.tripod.com/urbraxa/AthasianPhoto.htm. Not bad at all, but I'm looking for more.

I'm also in the process of trying to get at least one pic of each of the main geography types done in Bryce. I've started one, but the sky isn't looking that great. Olive skies and a crimson sun make for some strange looking clouds.

I will post up some of the images when I get them done. Has anyone else tried doing this? Or even using Photoshop to manipulate real photos for that matter?

Any tips will be nice.

Keeping meaning to put photoshop to good use for this sort of work and I'm also gradually building up a bank of possible Athasian images (found when looking for references for artwork).

I've also tried using bryce and found that clouds definitely need some work
:D

Be good to see what you're up to!

Did you ever mess with the Sky Dome settings in Bryce?

Not that I know of... I've been fairly random so far and need to have some time to do something more useful than just play with the settings. The incentive is there after seeing some of the landscapes/city-scapes that can be created.

I could do with looking for a decent tutorial!

I have some desert pictures on my website. Feel free to work on them, but please send me the modified pictures so I can post them.
