Being a few years late to Planescape, I missed out on grabbing The Inner Planes book and now it's selling for a ridiculous price. My is question is what is a good resource that contains complete details on the Inner Planes?

The most complete source of information is definately the 2e AD&D book The Inner Planes. You can always get the pdf version of that for less than 5 dollars in various online stores, like rpgnow.com.

But if you don't want pdfs, or if you prefer something 3e, your best bet is still the Manual of the Planes. Although it's a very watered down version of the Inner Planes. You only get six, instead of the 18 from 2e.

It's only $4 at Paizo.com.

Buy the .pdf.

Secrets of the Lamp is also a good source.

There's a good amount of 2e material in the Planewalkers' Handbook, though Rikutatis is right The Inner Planes is, hands down, the very best resource.
Personally, I'd get a .pdf which you can very easily adapt to 3e if that's your cup of tea.

Rip is right, don't underestimate Secrets of the Lamp. It's a wonderful, wonderful book. It is the definitive sourcebook on all the genie races and it has tons of information about the elemental planes and the places where the Efreet, Djinn, Marid, Dao and Jann live, including the most comprehensive write up of the City of Brass in any edition.

If they redid it for 3.5 it would be called the Genienomicon or maybe Libris Genii. It's that kind of book. ;)

Well, that's for all of your opinions on this matter. I suppose I will have to go with the pdf.
