Well, i've been playing dnd for quite a while, but i am now really getting into the older campaign settings. Darksun, Greyhawk, and Planescape have gathered my attention. I know quite a bit about darksun, but the rest i'm a little sketchy. I'm not feelin' dragonlance as much, and i've played Eberron along with Forgotten Realms quite a bit.

What is your suggestion that i should get my hands on to read to get a better understanding of this campaign setting?

The original Planescape boxed set is the setting in many ways. There are still HTML versions of it online, if you use Google wisely.

The Planewalker's Handbook is a nice compact compillation of most of everything the setting contained.

And, of course, download the PSCS documents at Planewalker.com.

Also look through mimir.net.

For specific questions, you might use the exciting new Encyclopedia feature being written as we speak at Planewalker.com. Searchable, cross-linked. It's good stuff.
