Monkey 1703,

What the blazes are you saying/asking/offering?

You vaugely intimate that you know all--if this is indeed the case, and to test your oracle, please list the real and true identities of the nine demigods trapped to provide power for the apotheosis of Zagyg--not the Mona Nine mind you, not nothing but the true and real identities of the legenday nonet of trapped demi-urges . All will thank you.

But in any event, you have left me delightfully amused and confused.

Most sincerely,

FL

Monkey 1703,

Fairylover, you've clearly misread Monkey's post. He already answered that. He wrote "there is nearly nothing i can answer".

I suspect that this is going to be a very short thread.

I'm not Monkey1703, but...
According to Gary Gygax and Rob Kuntz:
Celestian
Erythnul
Heironeous
Hextor
Iuz
Obad-hai
Olidammara
Ralishaz
Tritherion

With a note that "demigod" was literary license, not a reference to game mechanics.

Alright then,

Monkey 1703,

What REALLY happened during the kidnapping of Thrommel? That's so murky not even the Oracle of Delphi (or Col. Corto) could prognasticate!

I know that the kidnappers were agents of the Scarlet Brotherhood, but were in the employ of Nyrond.
Beyond that, I don't know any details, or why Nyrond would want Thrommel kidnapped in the first place.

Okay, I'll bite. What was your intention? Are you claiming to be an authority on all things Greyhawk? You've come to the right place because there's no shortage of those around here. ;) Seriously though we do welcome your input here but you may want to weigh in on some of the threads that are already running. You'll find that most of the people around here have sharp and witty tongues. Don't take offense, just join in, but play nice.

Your original post may need to be edited and expanded upon, it might help your cause. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Having books does not make one knowledgeable.

In any case, your original post was very obscure and poorly written so much so that it is difficult for others to understand what you are trying to communicate.

Monkey1703,

Welcome! Sorry about busting your coconuts, but Holy Hannah your original post made me laugh! I couldn't resist! Dig deep here and other GH spots. The people here and on other GH boards will BLOW YOUR MIND with encyclopedic GH knowldedge and creative skills.

It is true that many of these "grognards" do not have (or want) the latest books from WOTC et al. However they may... for example over on canonfire, GVD indicates that there is sweet GH stuffing in the Magic of Incarnum accessory. If someone has a question about the content they could ask you to plumb your library--shake your tree and see what banana falls ou--so to speak...
