#1 belfur Mar 13, 2006 3:40:16	As I am now reading, Krynn has only one lower plane: the Abyss, but what about evil outsiders: Demons, Devils and Yugoloths. Do they all exist in the Abyss. Is there something like the Blood War or is there no real difference between a Devil and a Demon in the Dragonlance CS. And where do the souls of the dead go, do they become petitioners on the planes or does something else happen to them? Maybe I just read over it, but I am still thankful for your answer.
#2 cam_banks Mar 13, 2006 6:02:03	Holy Orders of the Stars expands on this, but basically the Abyss houses not only the essences of the gods of Evil, but countless realms formed by the gods and shaped or created by their whim. Evil outsiders dwell in these realms or in pocket dimensions in between Krynn and the Abyss. There isn't any Blood War, but this doesn't mean devils and demons get along when they're in the same room. The souls of the dead pass through the Gate of Souls when they die, but some of them get intercepted by Chemosh, or invited into the Dome of Creation by the gods of Light, and so forth. Also, a soul will not pass on if its not ready, and will therefore sometimes be reborn later until it is. Cheers, Cam

Cheers, Cam On a slightly related, but relatively different topic, can the Portals to the Abyss now be used safely since Takhisis is dead and no longer waiting in the wings to leap out onto the prime material plane? Obviously they would still need to be opened but after that it seems that they are now useable. Also could a Black Robe of sufficient power attempt a Use Magic Device check to open the Portal without the aid of a cleric of Good? Would this be under the emulate an alignment part, or the one for emulating a class feature? Or perhaps even both?
