Are you planning a background for these NPCs?

Beek seems a likely follower of Phaulkon if his human half was Suel. I suppose Elhenestra works if he takes after his pointed ear parent.

But the question remains, where is Croodle?

Hmm.. given the kind of places that team will be going to, I wouldn't have given Beek a horse companion but something smaller and more adapted to underground adventures. Like, say, a dire badger or a dire bat.

Just my

I only plan to deal with stats, because I'm not aware that any actual canonic background exists for Beek, Fonkin, and the others, aside from what little is said in Dungeon 117 in the Istiven backdrop. As for Croodle, I have no clue about that either. Obviously its too small to merit being put on the maps. I'd place it either in Sterich, Geoff, or some other state near the Crystalmists.

That makes sense, I hadn't really considered that. His favored enemies and what little is known about his adventures indicate alot of mountain and underground adventures, which would leave a horse out. (I doubt horses would be very useful in the Demonweb Pits either! )

Croodle could be a a small village anywhere along the Crystalmists from Geoff to the Yeomanry. Or perhaps in one of the Ulek, given he's half-olven.

Perhaps we will not go to Croodle, though. It is a very silly place. :D
