Please be a bit... a lot more specific ¬¬

Anyway... a typical DL campaign includes: draconians, goblinoids, an undeads (yet this might be differet from one DM to another) are in IMO the most common monsters.

Items... well, kender weapons are fun with lots of uses other than hack & slash, you've got dragonlances, dragon orbs, the staff of magius, Fistandantilus' grimoire, kender's spoon of turning, and many, many more.

Adventures depend on the Era and Region u wanna play, if u haven't read at least Chronicles would be pretty hard to suggest if u don't have an idea of what dragonlance is about.

I must agree with True_Raistlin, to run a good DL game, the DM needs to read at least the Chronicles. I would add that the Dm should also read the Legends series. That way the DM can get a feeling of the Gods, and how the interact. How some will even help potential enemies and through caution to the wind and allow the fate of the world be left up to mortals, while others are cold and uncaring. Read as many of the novels and campaign settings books as you can get your hands on. Then pick an era and location. I have found that pre-Cat era can through experianced players at the beginning, all the Gods are very active then. Through playing pre War of the Lance means no clerics and increases the challenge with no magical healing or raising of dead available to the players.

The Staff of Magius and the dragonlances should be listed in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting book. If not, they can also be found in the old 2e Encyclopedia Magica (the dragonlances can at least, I don't have volumes 3 or 4, which is where the Staff of Magius would be found). The Dagger of Magius is also found there as well. As I remember, however, most magic items in Dragonlance are lower in power than the powerful items in other settings (namely Forgotten Realms). Magic is also a bit more difficult since it physically tires the caster (there are actual rules for it in the setting, as opposed to other settings where a mage can cast all day long without doing anything other than running out of spells).

Mmmm.... what DL Campaign u have???

Don't mean to be rude but if u actually have the book, there u can read the stats for the dark knight, the staff of maggius, and metallic draconians (challenge rating 2-8), as well as other typical DL monster ¬¬

Most creatures from the Moster Manual fits DL perfectly, but avoid orcs, genies, outsiders (pick these ones carefully IMO) and pokemon like creatures (yes, u may laugh)... again, not mean to be rude, but do u actually have a Monster manual... the core set for D&D???
