Hey,

Can someone please explain to me how pocket planes work? Can a wizard magically create one? Can I reshape its properties later, or does it stay exactly the way it was when it was created? Can I put furnitures in it, making it some sort of special haven? Do others require a special key to enter it? Does it need a portal? etc etc...

Thank you.

They hatch from Pokéballs. You take them out of your pocket and yell, "Poképlane, I choose you!" Then they battle other pocket planes.

Can a wizard magically create one?

Yes, using a Demiplane seed or Genesis spell.

Can I reshape its properties later, or does it stay exactly the way it was when it was created?

They're pretty much as they were when they were created, although they can grow depending on how many Pokébattles they win.

Can I put furnitures in it, making it some sort of special haven?

You can put anything you want in there.

Do others require a special key to enter it? Does it need a portal?

Anybody can enter them from the Ethereal Plane, if they know where to find it. A portal is more convenient, but not essential. Portals may or may not require portal keys.

Geez. Let me rephrase that: Are they in the Manual of the Planes (or any other supplement for that matter)?

Baldur's Gate 2 had them, so I was curious.

Or just give me a link to a website, if you can.

Yes, they're in the Manual of the Planes, and in the 2e A Guide to the Ethereal Plane.

They're also in the SRD:
Demiplanes
Genesis spell
Genesis psionic power
