I was going through some of the threads and one has a comment about Dalamar. This got me thinking. Back in the day when Raist pwned Dalamar and showed him what was up. He burned 5 oozing holes into the dark elf's breast.
Now for a while Dalamar would go around flashing that thing to anyone who cared. But what happend to it once the gods left? Did it heal? Does it continue bleed and ooze? did he just forget about? Did he realize that it is really kinda sick to be flashing gruesome stuff like that? Or did I miss the part in the book where all this stuff was explained?

I am pretty sure in the novel Wizards Conclave he still has them. As if I remember correctly he shows them off again. Ya think people would think he is pretty weird showing off his chest to anyone, but, eh.

EDIT: This topic title makes me giggle.

IIRC, he flashed it to everyone again to prove how much he had sacrificed for the art during his bid to become the head of the conclave.

he still has the fingerprints during the war of souls series. best as i recall they have never healed. i'll read them again soon, just to make sure.

Ok, thanks guys. I must have completley over looked that part when I read Wizard's Conclave. I was just curious about it.

Yup, IIRC, it was during the end of Wizard's Conclave that he "flashed" everyone again.

It's probably part of the spell/curse Raistlin laid on him. Not only is he stuck with five leaking holes on his chest for the rest of his life (which probably itch like the devil during the summer months), but he's geased to perform the "Dalamar Maneuver"(tm) everytime he's in public. It probably puts a real dampener on his social life - except to teenage girl wizards who are drawn to angst and torment.

Did you notice how much calmer he was about it in War of Souls? I think a couple decades of that freakish necromancy has mellowed him some (although Wizards Conclave kind of changed that).

A modified bestow curse or greater bestow curse spell could do the trick, I think.

I can actually second that. I haven't bought or really played anything else since I picked up WOW last October.
