Can anyone suggest a few adventures that take place in this region? I have some mid-level adventurers that may end up there fairly soon and I would hate to leave them hanging. Even lower level stuff is alright because I don't mind changing CRs to meet the needs of my players.

Thanks in advance,

If memory serves, the volcano from the Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil is hidden in the mountains not too far south of there.

It's more over towards Veluna's border with Verbobonc and Celene - where the Lortmils meet the Kron Hills. Of course - you can change that if you want if it fits the campaign.

More fertile territory north might be the Yatils north of the the Bissel/Veluna frontier - the Lost Caverns of Tsjocanth are up there, as is the Temple of Tharizdun IIRC (and I admit it's all a bit hazy...)
