Well, it's been a few months ... probably more than a few.

Hi, I'm flip, and I have no idea how to manage my time. I sort of managed to get my reading lists and daily distractions under control, so ... now I have enough time to resume other daily distractions. The trick, I suppose, it to not forget to visit the boards for weeks at a time, because then catching up on the backlog just gets too daunting.

There are some things I'm working on for the site that should hopefully be ready soon. New server, that I'm sending back to get put on the net this weekend, should be happy by next week. After that, a couple of site updates should be forthcoming.

And then beyond that, we're due for an update to DS3.5 ... I'll be going through errata postings for the core doc. I'll also be asking for feedback from actual games on the balance factors of various classes or races ... but wait until I actually ask, please.

In the interest of my own sanity, I'm going to NOT attempt to catch up on the backlog of postings here, other than the stickied errata threads. Sorry, but if I try and catch up the backlog, I'm just going to get swamped out again.

Well, I guess you're not trying hard enough! ;)

Seriously though, there is no point to burning oneself out.

Just do what you can, man.

It's not really about burnout. It's about time available, and trying to manage it.

That said, if there's something that you need me to look at, tell me, and I'll look.

I'm sending a server out for hosting; I'll have full control over the machine, and it should be up early next week. That's when the lists will go live. I'll also be moving the web presence over to that machine. I'm in the process of configuring it now (well, after work).

First, never reference Larry the Cable guy again. Second, expunge all knowledge that I caught the reference. Third, I'll look into it, and have the guys in the skills & feats bureau look it over. Then, I'll put it into the core doc, if they say yipee.

Hey! That's flip! Just like the other peoples said, do what you can. It's more than enouph. Peoples are already proud of what has been done by athas.org. You know, I used to be a lot more useful in the threads 2 years ago. Now, RL catched me up. BUT, I still try to put very little time in my small projects (sorry to methzerem and pennarin! I must).

If I had a thing to say is that I fully agree that the Gladiator miss flavour. I suggest you to read the last thread about the gladiator made by Banndon here .

It's full of flavors and has some very interesting mechanic. Please, take a look. It may always need some tweak, but it's much more interesting take than the one we actually have in the core doc (not to discredit the author). The feel of gladiator hit more in this version than in the core one.
