I have received quite a number of prestige class submissions since Prestige Class Appendix I was released. The intention is to edit and compile a second Prestige Class Appendix with fan created classes. Robert Aldrich, aka Kalthandrix, will be assisting me with this. In fact, he will be doing most of the work, whereas I will assume a coordinating role.

Kal will be responsible for editing the classes to conform with the standard (old) prestige class format, wording of class features and make sure class features are balanced and in line with precedent material. Then the Senate or Bureau of Classes will review the classes for final approval. Classes deemed to overlap too much with existing classes or that do not meld with athasian flavor (as judged by the panel) could be rejected, but we do a case by case evaluation to ensure fair treatment.

Kal has received copies of e-mails and attachments sent to me by various contributors, and new prestige class submissions should be sent to him. Kal´s e-mail is kalthandrix@gmail.com. I encourage you to keep posting prestige classes here on the boards for discussion and then send finalized versions to Kal. Once we have about 40 approved prestige classes, we will prepare a beta release.

Hey all- I just wanted to post some guidelines for e-mail being submitted to me so I can keep it all organized and flowing.

1. The e-mail you send me should be from the account you access most often- this way if I need to contact you, then it can be done do in and effective and efficient manner.

2. The heading/ subject in the e-mail should go as follows PrC- (name of class). If you want to send me multiple PrCs in one e-mail, that is fine. Just make sure that they are listed in the body of the e-mail.

3. If it is not in at least the basic PrC format I will send it back and ask you to please make it so. Having them in the basic format will aid me a lot. They will still have formatting changes done, but it will save me a lot of time if they are almost there.

4. They have to be in a word document, and

5. I do not want two or three versions sent to me. Only sent me the PrC when you are okay with it (as in believe it cannot get any better), I do not want drafts or incompete ones unless I specifically agree to work with you in finishing it and that will be on a case by case basis

Please be aware that all PrCs sent to me may not be in the final version, as Jon said, so please do not be upset or angry if your PrC does not make it.

Last note, by sending them to be, you are giving me permission to make changes as needed and also giving Athas.org permission to use and/or update them for this project to conform with current and future rules. All contributors will be given credit for their work of course. Contributors will be informed of major changes that I make or will be asked to work with me in making them work better and such.

Thanks everyone- I would like to see some new and never before seen material, so if you have something unfinished on your hard drive, well this could be a great time to finish it, put some polish on it, and send it to me.

Thanks again.

It is a lot, but it is far from finished- I am hoping that people will take and active interect in this project.

So for your Mystic Dancer- well I did not know there was an ability called Two Left Feet :D

I noticed, that there are two PrC listed that I developed (with the help of Pennarin), but I didn't actully send those to you or Jon. Although, I'm totally fine with you (or anyone else) changing parts as needed, there could be others that aren't. My advice would be, that if you have it from the boards, you should contact the authors, or at least explicitly say, that they should give their veto, if they don't want you to change or publish their work.

You have my approval to use the Tattooist and the Tenpug's Comrade PrCs as you desire and that you are allowed to publish them.

At least you had some make the list. None of mine made the list. Not even my paragon classes.

Yeah, sorry for that Ede. Kal is to contact you, just like he contacted me, for your PrCs. I took the occasion to slip him those I worked with (that's yours and squid's) so he'd have versions that were well edited. AFAIK they are identical to the board versions you agreed upon. Anyways, I could send them your way again so you could see if the versions I sent Kal match those you have (well, I hope you have them) on your hard drive or just on the boards.

Sysane, AFAIK Jon was impressed with your paragon classes and stated once he'd put them in Appendix II, but I can't be sure 100% of that statement. Have you sent your stuff to Kal?

I have reservations with lots of fan-made PrCs, but of yours the Tari Filth Monger
and Tari Herbal Healer I like, in addition to your paragon classes. Send those, you should have no problem "making the list".

Will do. I'll send Kal a few of my other PrCs. This is what I plan on sending:

Dragon Brood
Discipline Master
Dragon Warrior
Psionic Beastmaster
Obsinate Soul
Syphon
Tari Filth Monger
Tari Herbal Healer

Now that you are mentioning it, I remember that you asked, if you could send those to Jon. I was just supprised to see them in the list and totally forgot that I gave you my approval. I'm not sure if I have the last versions of our collaboration, so it would be nice if you could send me your current copy. I currently have some problems with some of my e-mail accounts, but one that should work would be eduard.gruenstern@udo.edu.

Here are the ones I'll send:

- Academician (hope it doesn't overlap too much with Kal's Psiologist ;) )
- Ancient Chronicler
- Auditor
- Master Shipfloater
- Qhari-dre
- Scion of the Worm
- Slave-Warrior

I know that substitution levels are not part of the OGL, but is there a way they can be used? Jon? Flip? If no other way is possible, I'll rework the Kalak into a 5 levels PrC, like I did with the Slave-Warrior.

Penn, what about the Monarch's Chosen?

I think if you called something other than "substitution levels" (i.e. variant levels) you should be able to get around it.

I remember fans mentionning that it looked different enough to be a seperate class, especially since the name change.

Penn, what about the Monarch's Chosen?

I'm trying to contact Seker but its rather hard. Maybe he's away. With his help I hope to answer the problems of the MC, e.g. make the class related to dragons instread of Champions, and fix the orb of storing problem.

Kal compiled the list based on all e-mails I received with submissions. I have yet to decide whether I want your paragons in the Prestige Class Appendix or in a variant DS Rule accessory akin to Unearthed Arcana. I know I want them.

The PrCs appearing on the list above are only those ones that I have (sent to me by Jon) which were in turn sent to him.

So if you never sent a PrC to Jon, then he would not have sent it to me. So Sysane- send me the PrCs. I was going to e-mail you but I have been really busy today.

Bengeldorn- as Pennarin said, he was the one who sent me the PrCs that you and he worked on.

Here is two other notes for PrCs sent to me- They have to be in a word document and I do not want two or three versions sent to me. Only sent me the PrC when you are okay with it (as in believe it cannot get any better), I do not want drafts or incompete ones unless i specifically agree to work with you in finishing it and that will be on a case by case basis- I will add this to the post above too.

As for variant class levels- that will have to be Jon's call on if he want them in this or not.

Hmmmm....variant DS rule accessory? I like the sound of that. I'd like to be involved in that action

I'll send them to you tomorrow Kal. I have all of them saved in word.docs on my work PC.
