Did you ever see The Great Escape, a movie of 1963 with actors like Steve McQueen, Donald Pleasence, Richard Attenborough, James Coburn, James Garner and Charles Bronson?
I saw it just now. I saw it a lot of times in the past, maybe 3 or 4 times. But it is always a nice movie.
If you did not see it: spoiler
I was thinking about putting a "luftwaffe" prison camp in the Heldann Freholds and let my Serrainian gnomish PCs to be captured and imprisoned in the camp. There they could meet some Alphatian skysheep helmsman and some Retebius Air Fleet legionary. Together they willtry a Great Escape.
What I ask you all, nice guys, is to play with me.
Every Mystara Board Reader could create here his "prisoner" character, Thyatian, Alphatian or else, with a name, an history, some traits, the adventure in which he was captured. I will introduce him as a NPC in the prison camp and befriend the PCs.
Will your prisoner character survive the Great Escape?

(Of course, this is my contribute to beat Grayhawk!)

Great idea, Arcanda! The Great Escape is a great movie too! I'm not likely to be able to post a character this week (I have a final exam this saturday) but if you're still accepting them after that I'd love to. My only questions are what year to place the character, under which rules system and what range of levels :D ?

I play by AD&D2ed rules, but I will accept any format Prisoner Character. I will translate them in my rules with small effort.
And there is no haste: PCs are now in the lost city of Cynidicea. They will play it and Caverns of Chaos before being captured by Heldanners. So it could be a long time before I will play it. But I will store Prisoner Characters for a later and wise use!

What sort of Level are we looking at?

For something really silly how about 'The A Team' meets 'The Great Escape'.

I think level 5-7 will be good.

Any other question is welcome, of course! :D
