I'm working on one that automatically populates stat bonuses and calculate bonuses for untrained skills. You will need Acrobat Pro to save a character, but otherwise you can fill it out and print it with the standard Acrobat reader. Anybody interested in trying it out can send me a PM.

Here is a suggestion- ask Jon if Athas.org would be willing to host it. They have other fan made material there and have a character sheet too, but having one like this there would be great too.

I've sent out the sheet to interested parties and I await your feedback. If anybody wants to host it, I'm cool with that. In actuality this is based on the sheet hosted by Athas.org, so if anybody wants to host it they should give credit to the original author as well as myself.

I like it! Only have a few minor complaints:

- no field for entering money
- under currency, it has "tesselle" and "cerame" instead of "beads" and "ceramics"
- just to the right of that it says "subsitences" instead of "food" or "sustenance"

I know the last two are no fault of yours, they were in the version you based yours on... but maybe you can correct them?

Either way, good work :D

Anybody know the name of the original author?

Thank you for your feedback.

I have corrected the spelling, changed subsitences to comestibles, made some other small changes, and sent it out to the previous group of people. I hope you find it useful.

At this time I will not be able to translate the sheet to Portugese or any other language. Ask me again in about a month.

Found some additional things that might need fixing-

1. The base attack entry area will not accept numbers for some reason.
2. One the back you have Water/Vine- should it be Wine?
3. Currency on Dark Sun is lead beads, bits, ceramic, silver, and gold. Electrum was gotten rid of in all 3.5 and 3.0 products and platimum is unheard of on Athas as far as I know.

1. There are no more 0-level powers (so no 'free manifestations');
2. There are no more psionic attacks and defenses, they're regular powers now.
3. The "level" box is a bit short, while the "speed" seems too big, it should be inverted.
4. There is no Knowledge (War), it should be Knowledge (Warcraft)
5. Read Lips and Remote View are 3.0 skills, they no longer exist on 3.5, so does Innuendo, Intuit Direction, Gather Energy, Scry, Stabilize Self, Wilderness Lore. Alchemy should be changed to Craft (Alchemy). Survival should be included.

I think it's all for now...

I have made your requested corrections and I will email out the new version after I address brun1's. I am uncertain why the BAB field isn't accepting your input. It's just fine on my machine. I've adjusted the text alignment of the field to centered. Hopefully this will correct the problem.

It is almost perfect now...

Two questions:

Why did the little black box was replaced with a "!" for skills that can be used untrained?

Why the little explanation
" Denotes a skill that can be used untrained.
Mark this box with an X if the skill is a class skill for the character.
Armor check penalty, if any, applies."
was removed from the end of the skill section?

Now some comments:
If you compare this sheet to the one from 3.5 PHB, you'll notice that is missing a 'Grapple' and a 'Spell Resistance' box right below the saving throw section.
The same with 'Touch' armor class and 'Flat-footed'.
There is still mention of 0-level powers in the 'Powers Known' box.
The 'Power Save' box is different from the 'Spell Save' box, even though they're mechanicaly the same.
Maybe one of the 'Gear' box should be removed in other for some space to note spells/powers, I don't think Athasian adventurers will ever carry that much stuff and we could easily use the extra space...

Now work, slave, work!

The font was replaced by illustrator causing the bullet points indicating untrained skills to become exclaimation points. I didn't fix that mostly because I was tired. I'll see about fixing the exclaimation/bullet problem some time in the next week. It's mostly an issue of formating at this point. Adjusting things in Acrobat will screw up the alignment of the rest of the text while fixing it in Illustrator may require some additional adjustment to the editable fields. The explanation text was removed unintentionally, however I doubt anybody playing Dark Sun really requires those instructions. I will see about replacing it in any event. While I am working on those I will consider your other suggestions and I may apply them.

The main BAB box, located under the initiative modifier, or the BAB under melee and ranged attack? The latter is populated by the value entered into the former. If you attempt to change the BAB in the attack section it does roll back to zero.

Has anyone thought of editing the HeroForge 4.0.4 exel sheet?
It really is a must for any D&D player or DM. It works wonders!
