This one to is not quite finished and I could use a couple of suggestions.

Drummer of Gulg
Many stories are told in the Tablelands about the drums which are heard all over the forest city of Gulg. Yet more tales are told about the dreaded bards whose hands pound on the drums’ skins. Even within the city, the citizens both respect and fear the drummers. These are the men and women who deliver messages from all over the city and satellite villages. They also make them dance on festival days and tell such wonderful stories.

I think you could use the monk quivering palm ability and only modify it a little to work with Heart Beat.
Heart Beat (Su): Starting at 10th level, a drummer of Gulg with 18 or more ranks in the Perform (percussion) skill can use her drums to stop the heart of a creature. He can use the heart beat attack once a week. Only living creatures with hearts and that are able to hear the music can be affected. To make such an attempt, the drummer of Gulg merely wills the target to die (a free action), and unless the target makes a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 the character’s level + the drummer of Gulg's Car modifier), it dies. If the saving throw is successful, the target is no longer in danger from that particular heart beat attack, but it may still be affected by another one at a later time.

Killer story is a bit more complicated...

brun01, the ability looks nice but just how much time the drummer must spent drumming to activate this ability? A full-round action? A minute? 10? or a standard action?

Thanks for the ideas, Bruno. How's this guys [check out modified version up top]. ...and I know it's going to need some rephrasing.

Constructs, oozes, plants, undead, incorporeal creatures and creatures who have an intelligence less than 3 cannot be affected. The target must also be able to understand the storyteller’s language.

Using standard lingo this is a "Mind-affecting, language-dependent" effect.

Oops! Done, thanks.
