Has thought been given to adding a bit to either the Prestige Class Appendix or the PrC Appendix II that would go over what PrCs from other sources are suggested for use in Dark Sun.

I've been going through sources and this is what I've come up with so far. It's not a comprehensive list of course as I've only been looking through books as I happen to grab them off the shelf. I also haven't addressed anything from the Wizard's website.

Abolisher (LoM)
Beast Master (CV)
Cerebremancer (XPH)
Dread Commando (HoB)
Duelist (DMG)
Ebon Saint (CP)
Elocater (XPH)
Exotic Weapon Master (CW)
Invisible Blade (CW)
Loremaster (DMG)
Master Thrower (CW)
Master of the Unseen Hand (CW)
Mindspy (CW)
Reaping Mauler (CW)
Shadowmind (CV)
Slayer (XPH)
Soulbow (CP)
Streetfighter (CV)
Tempest (CV)
Thief-acrobat (CV)
Thrallherd (XPH)
Warmind (XPH)
Wildrunner (RotW)

I felt as though the following could be used with minor changes, as listed:

Entropomancer (CD) - Additional Requirement - Patron Element: sun, magma or silt.
Highland Stalker (CV) - Additional Requirement - Area of Origin: Ringing Mountains.
Iron Mind (RoS) - Replacement Requirement - Feats: Armor Proficiency(medium) {Replaces armor proficiency(heavy)}. Additionally, any ability that requires the Iron Mind to be wearing heavy armor now functions in either medium or heavy armor.
Peregrine Runner (RoS) - Replacement Requirement - Race: Halfling
Spymaster (CV) - Additional Requirement - Mental Resistance class feature.
Stonespeaker Guardian (RoS) - Eliminated Requirement - No race requirment; Additional Requirement - Patron Element: Earth.
Stormlord (CD) - Replacement Requirement - Patron Element: rain
Windwalker (F&P) - Eliminated Requirement - No race requirement; Spells: Clerics need not have access to air and travel domains; Replacement Requirement - Patron Element: Air; Feats: Weapon Focus(Any Light Weapon) {Replaces weapon focus (greatsword)}

I think I've used standard source notation for most of these, but if any book reference doesn't click I can give the full title.

Are there other published/official PrCs that people use?

There is a fluff conversion somewhere on the boards that was done for non-DS PrCs. As I recall it was very thoughtful. It might be listed in the Archives.

I'm not seeing it there, any other ideas?

In our campaign we are currently using the Quori Nightmare from Races of Eberron

We simply renamed it Fearhand and removed the racial requirement. Changed fluff to be psionic characters who have found a mastery of fear.

Glad to see you here FnordBear!

Thanks! I browse it every few days but rarely post.

Anyway back on track.

Also we modified the human Paragon to give caster or manifester level progression (pick at level 1 but not both)

So currently playing a psychic warrior 5/human paragon 3/fearhand (quori nightmare) 2

fun

Starting with level 14 will be grabing classes from Hyperconcious, mmmmm Ghostbreaker.
