I recently got Dragon 344, with the Princess Ark article. I found it interesting, and was wondering where I might be able to find a Mystara conversion to 3.5?

I know of the official Mystara website, and will use that to learn of fluff-stuff, but for crunch, if it exists, I'd like to know of a conversion.

Thanks!

There's been a lot of activity recently on monster and Immortal conversions (see the threads here or the pages in the Vaults).

There also conversions for some Mystara-specific rules, such as Legacies and the Radiance in the Vaults, in the Rules page.

Finally, some conversions of PC races and some prestige classes can be found here: http://www.pandius.com/clas_kit.html#races

Some people are also writing full conversion documents, I suppose they'll pop up in this thread.

Well, offhand there is the Mystara 3E project, which has some ideas and things, although it hasn't been updated in a while and I think the project is defunct (though I'm not sure).

Your best resource would just be to look around the Vaults of Pandius, or these boards. There are numerous 3E projects (conversions and otherwise) in the works, and here in particular you can probably get some good answers/suggestions to your questions.

(How's that FAQ coming along...???? )

Basicly since Mystara isn't that different than the original setting you can basicly use the rules of 3.5.

The Mystaran net Almanacs should give you the fluff. Apart from that if you can get a few monsters conversion you would be on your way.

The best deal would be to get your hands on some old Mystara stuff, either used or I know they released some as PDF which you can find for sale on various site on the net.

the official website contains fluff and crunch, though there hasn't been a single crunch document that you seem to be after created yet
