I'd like to know how I (or anyone) could add substantial material to these boards and get feedback/helpful criticism. If I have largish files (far too long for the message boards) do I have to have them hosted on a separate site and can anyone offer this service to a not-so-techie DS enthusiast?
Finally, can you give advice on formating style for DS documents to keep with the flavour of previous material? (or is this breach of copyright again :P )

I've found these message boards great for ideas and discussing points about DS 3.5. and now I'd like to see if I can contribute and put something back in.

I can host some stuff on my website, depending on its nature.

Em, it's about a base for a campaign setting for the northern tablelands, I would choose to use the mountains directly north of Raam, which I think is what Hamanu refers to as the Kreegill hills in Rise and Fall of a Sorceror Kings. In my spin they are more mountains than hills and could be the location of Abalach-Re's mine from where the Star of Badna was taken. However, the area has become more remote in the last few kings ages for a number of reasons revealed in the campaign, one being the re-eruption of a previously dormant volcano.
I chose this location as I don't think much has been written on this area at the end of the tablelands before the northern wastes. Plus it leaves room for intrigue as it is an area which the rulers of Raam, Draj and even Urik would monitor for trouble as it lies in their own back yard.
In spite of this or perhaps because any move into the region would be looked upon as an act of aggression against the other city states, this mountain range has been left to itself, allowing a secretive society to emerge that may affect the course of history of the northern tablelands...

If you think you might host some of this for feedback Jon, I can send my current write-up on the setting before the weekend.

Sure thing, I hope to get feedback from a few people and to iron out a few ideas. I'm hoping to add a few supplements in the form of testimonies from various characters over a number of weeks (first one almost done, working on the others when time is available), but first things first, I'll check the basic description (about 6 pages) and send them onto you soon.
