Thread Title : Monstrous Compendium Appendix - Marvel

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine has been trying to chase down an old 2nd edition appendix for the original Monstrous, the one that came in a lever arch file, that was the Marvel Superheroes in a D&D based gaming style. Can't seem to find anything and we're getting desparate, even if just to find out if there was no such thing.....Please help?!?!?!?

If they're saying it's for AD&D 2nd edition, then they're winding you up, the Marvel super heroes game was an entirely different rule set in itself, but they did do books of gaming stats for them, you'll want to try ebay for them, as Wizard's don't have the copyrights liesence anymore...

Don't Buy the Basic Boxed set for more than a few quid.  Look out for the more advanced blue boxed set (Advanced) as it covers the rules and character generation.  The Basic is useful only for its stats.

The other booklets vary from Good to Excellent, and the X-Cutioners song addition is wicked.

The New York Setting is beyond belief (Big Apple but is so expensive its a real luxuary).

Probably the Best Marvel Game was the Advanced Set, though the new Current game is supposed to be very good (odd by good).
