#1 stanles Jun 22, 2006 20:03:23	without wanting to big note things too much I just thought that I'd point that this coming Tuesday will be ten years of the Vaults of Pandius.* Which is both kind of cool, and kind of scary too. *not that it was called the Vaults of Pandius for all of that time but you get the idea.

Unless of course this weekend sees me being really super productive and resurrecting those plans, but given that it's summer here and that would mean spending a lot of time inside at a computer it's not looking good.
#3 stanles Jun 22, 2006 20:09:24	the first full month of being at pandius.com, June 2005, saw the Vaults use 916 MB of bandwidth. That has risen each month to be 5.7 GB in May 2006.
#4 stanles Jun 22, 2006 20:19:52	What has become the Vaults of Pandius started out as merely a group of links a friend hosted for me on a page he might not have been hosting totally legally for me on the ... website where his dad worked. Not that I think that that was the date that I use for my starting date ... or maybe it is. Hey ten years is a long time.

While my involvement with Mystara has waxed and waned through the years as I moved around the country, I would still once in a while go look around to see what was new at the Vaults. I felt happy knowing that it was still around. I can vaguely remember the giddy feeling I felt when I first discovered Shawn's site back around 1998. I'm also grateful to the staff (wasn't it Jim Butler?) at WotC who took the action of giving an official nod the Vaults. Shane

Gee, now I feel really old Anyway, congratulations to all of us and especially to Shawn - that the site is still alive and kicking is a clear signal that the attempt to keep Mystara alive has been successful. We should do something special to celebrate - isn't that what you do at anniversaries?

#12 hihama Jun 27, 2006 12:05:45	I still remember what a revelation it was in the early 90s finding with gopher that there are mailing-list about Mystara and pages where people have collect their stuff about gaming. It really gave me a new perspective about my campaigns. Then at some point I found Vaults of Pandius and it has been a real gold mine ever since. Keep the torch burning. Harri

Next milestone - 1/2 million!!! :D
