Hi guys!

I'm opening up this thread merely to let you know that we finally managed to put together the complete and final version of the Codex Immortalis, the complete guide to Mystaran Immortals and Religions.

For practical reasons it's been divided into two different Tomes:
- Volume 1 (Tomo Primo) with all the info on Immortals and all the nice appendixes regarding them (it's around 5,60 MB compressed with WinRar and split in 4 parts to be downloaded separately)
- Volume 2 (Tomo Secondo) with all the info on how to play clerics of specific immortals or defenders of the faiths, religions of Mystara and a complete list of the regional pantheons for each area and nation of Mystara (it's 3 MB zipped with WinZip).

So if you want to take a look and see what you're missing (in case you don't speak Italian :p), here's the URL to visit (click on all the links you find to download the various parts of the Codex):

Thanks to all that helped me in this 2+ years long quest!

And don't forget: VIVA MYSTARA! ^_^

Hi Marco

It's obviously very popular, I can't acces the site at the moment coz the download limit has been exceeded I'll try again later/tomorrow.

Congratulations on finishing the project, however.

What's next then? Other than the other translations. ;)

Regards
Gary

That is a great project to work on! I once spent the day at the Villa D'Este and I never wanted to leave. Have a blast!

And congrats on finishing the Codex Immortalis, it will give me a reason to brush up on my Italian.

This is really great.
If I had time I would take my Finnish-Italian dictionary and start reading this.

Looks Great! Unfortunately, I'm having some difficulties (besides not being able to read Italian :P ). Parts 2 - 4 of the first volume will not extract for me for some reason; I have opened part 1 as well the second volume with no problems. Am I doing something wrong - or stupid?

Regardless, impressive work there, Marco. Congratulations!

Parts 1-4 are all the same archive, so when you open part 1 you extract the information from all of them. At least that is what I concluded from the final file size - I wondered about this too. ;)

Marco, it looks wonderful, and I like the design too. I hope you are planning to release an English version in PDF too, once you get the whole thing translated. (Hey, we are patient. :D)

Congratulations! And I hope you're having a nice holiday, you certainly deserve it after all this.

Which leaves just one question. What are you working on next?

Marco, is there any chance that any part of Immortalis may be available in a text only version (such as a Word document)? If it is, I would love to have it so I could babelfish it. I have been translating some words to gleen the meaning of some sentences and it's just teasing me. I must read it all! (even if it is in broken english :D ). Thank you anyhow.

You can already get a text version simply by selecting the text and copying it from the PDF into a text document. Of course, this would take a bit longer than getting a plain text version from Marco, and you probably already knew that. :embarrass ;)

I tried copying the text within the pdf using the select tool, but it won't let my actually copy it. It lets me select it, mind you - it just won't allow me to copy the selection, either by using the menu or the keyboard shortcut.

I've tried everything I could think of (which isn't a whole lot considering my limited knowledge of computers in general). I'm using an updated 7.0 Adobe Reader to open the pdf.

If I could get this to work, believe you me, I'd be doing it ;) :D . Thanks for the suggestion though, Thorf.

Ah, you're right. :embarrass The permissions must be set to disallow copying. In that case, you will indeed need to get a copy from Marco.
