#1zombiegleemaxJun 28, 2006 0:24:54 | Cardstock models are so cool. They are cheap, as many copies as one wants can be printed out, and they look spiffy. Here's my listing of links to cardstock rpg model companies, free cardstock models, and links to the oD&D AC-seried 3D Dragon Tiles sets: www.worldworksgames.com http://miniature-games.com/ Whitewash City - usable in Cimarron County: http://www.erichotz.com/whitewash.html http://www.fatdragongames.com/ http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/cumberland.htm http://www.microtactix.com/ http://www.stones-edges.com/ http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/ http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fpm/archive http://www.wizkidsgames.com/mageknight/article.asp?frame=gameresources&cid=37135 AC3, Kidnapping of Princess Arelina: (http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/w/wizardsOfTheCoast/byProductType/roleplayingGames/dungeonsDragons/classicDAndD/accessories/v5748btpy7mu1) AC5, Revenge of Rusak: (http://paizo.com/store/downloads/wizardsOfTheCoast/classicDAndD/accessories/v5748btpy7mu2) Here's my top ten locales I'd like to see in cardstock glory: 1. The Caves of Chaos - my first D&D adventure 2. Castle Mistamere - my second D&D adventure 3. Sukisyn homestead from B10 - the battle-mat was great, but it'd be even better in 3D 4. The petrified forest hide-out of the Dymrak Forest goblins from B10 5. Elwyn's Sanctury from "In Search of Adventure" - weird iron-walled spiral 6. That pyramid beneath Threshold in K:KoA - when I made my own cardstock model of it for my players, I discovered that the scale needs to be modified. According to the scale on the map, characters can barely fit in it. 7. Castle Amber - when I visited the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC, I thought about what this model would look like. 8. Lost City of Cynidaecia - a reverse pyramid 9. The shell-shaped city from X6 Quamire! 10. The Palace of the Silver Princess - in both "banned"- and revised-configurations. |
