ok so I bought the 3.5 campaign book, and while it has some editorial errors, it has given me alot of inspiration for a few games to run, but before I begin I was wondering? Where can I go to find more campaign specific info for masque?

Masque of the Red Death has received little official support in general. 3E has no other products (although a Masque of the Jade Dragon/Horror was scheduled), while there are two 2E products, The Gothic Earth Gazetteer and the Guide to Transylvania, in addition to the 2E campaign setting (which contains three adventures). Further, there are several articles about the Gothic Earth in the various netbooks at the Fraternity of Shadows and Secrets of the Kargatane, in addition to the Fraternity's campaign journals, some of which are set in Masque.

And on the FoS site, there is a board where GE discussions take place.

Have you read the official errata for this book?

Welcome to the mists!

You can also join the RPGA. It's Living Death campaign is just wrapping up and you still might be able to download a few modules for that. The site likewise has a few related downloads and updates.

good idea, except the only way I can see to join is to go to an event, but there are none around my area. well ok, there's one 6hrs away, but that's a bit much.

I bought Masque of the Red Death a couple of weeks ago and I've been reading it ever since. Jesterjeff, do you happen to game online?

The original boxed set or the 3.5 version?
The original boxed 2nd edition set is a great bargain at 8, while the 3.5 book.... you wouldn't want to go higher than $8 on that.

:D Originally, it was, but since those RPGA managers declared my dear Rauxes a planar Nexus, what can I do...?

Noone ever visits any more! Just those nasty Bateezu, Batazu, whatever... :whatsthis

Seriously, MotRD is a good setting for horror games, and I personally like its flexibility. With WoD or CoC, you have always huge metaplots behind them, and most games are relatively similar in the construction of the plot. MotRD is more flexible because a good ending can really happen.

But behold: While the 2e box is really an intro and a presentation for a complete setting, the 3e book has more the feeling of an accessory to me that is meant to be used with most other RL 3e stuff.

Great book! So how would one go about getting into the Living Death game?

All those things work by joining the RPGA...
