Jul 19, 2006 18:19:53 Where does Greyhawk now stand with EPIC level characters? In the Gazette they were 20+ etc. In the racheting up of levels as we progress in editions....

What are the supposed levels of:
Mordenkainen
Robilar
Rary
Tenser
Circle of Eight Members
Ex Great Kingdom rulers (North, South, Drax etc)

Soon they will be 30th level? I thought some of these will be handled in ELHB. What are they in these as I do not have this sourcebook?

Jul 19, 2006 18:28:32 the Epic Level hand book has Epic stats for several greyhawk characters including Mordy and Robilar.

Some of these have been handled in the ELHB. Alas, giving you their stats here isn't possible because of copyright

Jul 20, 2006 3:28:35 According to ELH Mordenkainen is level 27 and Robilar level 24. In addition it puts Cat Lord at level 37 and Eclavdra at level 23. Tenser was published in Dungeon Magazine for the Age of Worms Adventure Path, and was put at level 21 there.

There might also have been some other epic level Greyhawk NPCs published in Dungeon Magazine as Critical Threats. I know Evard and Warduke has appeared there, but I don't think they where epic.

This pretty good since in Rary the Traiter Robliar was 2E 15th and Rary 2E 24.
In Greyhawk box set Mordenkainen was 20, and Rary was always a good 3-4 levels higher. So what level did they make Rary in the Dungeon?

Jul 21, 2006 10:44:53 Poor choice, Rary was the wizard of highest level in 2nd edition Greyhawk, which perhaps explained why the Circle of Eight was leaving him alone in the Bright Desert.
