How would modern humans fair in a standard Planescape setting?
I've actually ran a Planescape game starring FBI agents investigating X-Files. One of them wanted to learn to summon Tanar'ri, one of them said "it's like a storybook" once they reached Elysium (the first Outer Plane they spent much time in), and one didn't want anything to do with it.

I have always liked the idea of bringing in characters from the modern era or victorian or renaissance earth. I dont think it would end up as anything like the X-Files, but it could turn into something like the Sandman, Books of Magic or Lucifer graphic novels from DC Vertigo. Would be awesome I think
