Six more to go...This board has really evolved over the past few years.
My favourite thread in all these years was the one with the very unique TheWarOverlord, that was priceless!

Well, I am in fact, honored to have been, maybe as a small part of what our community is now. An extremely well organized and full of imagination.

This is the 50,000th post. Something poetic or profound would be nice, but... I can't think of anything. So... ATHAS RULES!!!!!!!!!

So, how many hits does Athas.org have so far? Must be quite a lot coz I know Freedom! has had over 40.000 since it moved to the geocities server alone (not counting the 4-5 years on the previous server).

Well, I only have statistics since last May -- I moved the site to a new server in April. Last time I scanned the log files was a bit less than a week ago.

First week of september was: 32,762 hits
August totaled in at: 141,407 hits, and may was the top month at 175,381 hits.
we've had a total of 649,326 hits since the last week of April, 2006.

(the following are based on the month of August)
52.5% of hits are IE 6
35.5% of hits are from mozilla / firefox
1.4% are running the beta of IE7 ;)

People actually find the site by searching for http://athas.org/ (29 hits with that as a search string) -- just under half of all searches that lead to the site are for "Dark Sun", and about 15% are for "darksun" ...

We get traffic spikes around noon, and four in the afternoon, and at about 11 pm. Not very spikey though, it's generally a very smooth sin curve.

We transferred (in august) 25,724,933 KB of data, and had 10,055 visit from 6,815s unique visitors.

hmh, now that we've overtaken Dragonlance in posts, we can now take on Forgotten Realm and Eberron!! :D

(hmh, this sounds almost like a leonard cohen song...)

that should be do-able, shouldn't it?
