I am having an awefuly hard time finding any information on the goings on at the Guild of Wizardry in Greyhawk City.

Are these types of things left entirely to the DM of the given game, or is there a reference, source book, ect. where i might find some info?

I was able to find a write up in one of the very old books (cant remember which of the top) that desribed its history and stuff like that, but im looking for a bit more.

Thanks a bunch

As pointed out above, if you can get your hands on it, I seem to recall the City of Greyhawk boxed set having quite a bit of info in it on the College of Mages / Guild of Wizardry

The most up-to-date information on the City of Greyhawk was the short-lived series Erik Mona and I wrote for the Living Greyhawk Journal. While we unfortunately never got to the Guild of Wizardry, issue number 5 had a section about the University of Magical arts which you may find relevant. Alas, except for very brief mentions in the myriad locations listed in Mortepierre's post above, the only other places you'll find info on the Guild specifically will be the City of Greyhawk boxed set (c. 1986) and The Adventure Begins (by Roger Moore).
