Where can I find rules about triple progression of characters, someone told me that has something in DS rules and is this real or mine friend is wacko?

When you play with one of them the others up levels too

Sorry about the misspelling:D

You could be thinking about the 2nd ed charater tree. The way this worked was that you would roll up 4 characters and pick one as your active character. If you level up this character you level up one of the others.

Each time you level up you can level up any other character, but only one so you are left with a choice of boosting your second favourite character to keep pace with your primary or spread the levels out.

My group uses this system and it works very well, although when you primary dies it can get a bit contrived having your new character appear in the middle of the desert.

But then the game has wizards and stuff in so it ain't really a problem is it?

Or simply only charachters that are actually wandering in the desert (or in that particular area), have to be considered "ready to activate" while oteres must first have a reason to move in the area...

Elves, members of trading houses, scouts, humters etc are fair game
