#1zombiegleemaxNov 08, 2006 0:26:35 | Hi. I'm a newbie to the Dragonlance novels. I received the War of Souls Trilogy as a gift, and really want to read them, but I have not read the Chronicles, Legends, or any other Dragonlance novels. If I go ahead and read War of Souls, will I be totally lost at sea, or will I be alright? I would just go buy Chronicles, but right now am strapped for cash. |

And if your library doesn't have them, chances are really good another library in their system has them, so you can borrow them from those ones as well. |

Even better, if you want to start at the very beginning, you should read read Margaret Weis's The Soulforge. It's a really good read. Your best bet is to read them in this order: The Raistlin Chronicles (Brothers in Arms optional), Chronicles, Legends, The Second Generation, Dragons of Summer Flame, and then War of Souls. |
