Have Faction colours ever been mentioned in any Planescape books? I'm pretty sure they haven't so I wonder if anyone's ever thought of certain colours that the different Factions might favor?

I think it would depend on the faction’s perspective.
Bleakers would likely wear drab colors, olive or moss colors.
Dustmen, of course would prefer dark clothes, black and dark gray. The lack of color representing dispassion.
Athars might favor coppers and greens, seeing it as tarnished faith.
Hardheads, I think of preferring red, thank to TD. But I also think that it was mentioned once or twice.
Doomguard might like the reddish-browns of rusted metal.
Guvners tend to surround themselves with texts, so they could be associated with off white or yellow and brown.
Sensates would likely be associated with bright colors, red, blue or violets, anything vivid.
Signers, being self absorbed might like deep colors of red.
Mercykillers, though the name “red death” would make you think otherwise, could, like justice, prefer neutral colors. Maybe gray.
Anarchist would like whatever they are pretending to be, but the bright red “A” of anarchy comes to mind.
Xaositects, their colors would be constantly changing. I always think of patch-work clothing and mottled colors.

That’s all that comes to mind.

I was asking a tiefer girl about this the other day. Her response was something like this:

"No, ye daft sod, green and blue are NOT indep colours. We don't have colours, 'cause we're not a faction, aye? See those group o' bally air-dancers bangin' around the Festhall? They're wearin' yellow cloaks because they're Sensates, and Sensates wear yellow. I wear green an' blue because I like green and blue, savvy? Now, did ye want that tour o' the Lower or not? I've got plenty of jink-slingin' backring's to guide about if ye're not interested."
