The Mists of Castle Ravenloft?

Dec 26, 2006 12:27:37 Anyone have 3.5 stats for the poisonous mists/fog that surrounds Castle Ravenloft? EtCR has stats for the mist that surrounds Barovia but I'm looking for something more harsh or lethal for the castle proper.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Dec 26, 2006 19:34:57 While technically they are 3.0 stats, try Ravenloft Gazetteer Vol. I, for lots of Barovia goodies, including Strahd's poison fog.

Slightly longer version: You die after a few hours.

Seriously, though, get the Gazetteer. It's wonderful.

Dec 27, 2006 20:19:49 Just find a poison in the DMG. No save, ability damage periodically that doesn't wear off.

Jan 21, 2007 15:03:58 On page 15 of the EtCR, there is a weird happenings table that talks about a fog cloud spell filling the area and this eventually turns into the same type of mist that surrounds Barovia(the mist is described on page 49).
To make it more lethal, you could make it cloud kill instead. Or use some sort of gas type poison as suggested.
