Just got the book (and love it), the new version are far more simple than those in DLCS and WotL.

Anyway, it doesn't say anything about taking two or even 3 KoS PrC, I know it's up to the DM, but by the rules is it allowed?

You can stay pure fighter or cleric or anything else, just about, as long as you meet the pre Reqs for the PRC class that u want to take. Look at the examples in the book.

You can do this, but you may end up doubling up on abilities. It's not particularly necessary.

Cam, is there any benefit or disadvantage of doing it the old DLCS way?

Nope. None that I can think of, although Rose knights are very scary in the DLCS version.

They're a very powerful prestige class.
