I know that the first Beastiary of Krynn is out of print or hard to find, but my question is really about the Revised version. The description from dragonlance.com said that it would expand on the first one and add new monsters. Is the Revised one going to be the exact same as the first one (content wise) with extras or will it be more like a Monster Manual II?

It has all of the monsters that were in the first edition of the book, but the layout has been changed (the whole thing is alphabetical, the art is bigger and cleaner) and the stat blocks are in the new format from WOTC. Also, there are a number of new monsters we'd cut from the first book, as well as some advanced or "champion" examples of some of the monsters, to give you more options in higher-level campaigns.

Also included is an appendix that describes how the Monster Manual creatures fit into DL, and suggestions for suitable monsters from MM2 and Fiend Folio, also.

Cheers,
Cam

In the preview, I could not see any knowledge check information for the Ankholian Undead. Is this the case for all the monsters or come some of them with this information?

If not, it would be (in my opinion) the perfect webenhacement for the product.

We didn't include lore tables for any of the creatures, nope. That would have taken more time than we had.
