Looks good. Yet another decent entry in the series. The Cairn Hills are full of these type of places, I wonder if Creighton and Looby take requests? I'd like to see a retcon on the Doomgrinder for a Mysterious Place.

Yes - as long as it's nothing by Abba.

I think the grand plan, in as much as there is one, is to do more locations in and around the Domain of Greyhawk this year.

I'd actually love to do a Doomgrinder retcon - but would be reluctant openly contradict published canon (even if it's lousy, silly, illogical published canon;my views on the DG adventure are archived here and on CF).

If I have the time, I could do something on Canonfire, if you like. Like the Cylons - I have a Plan. ;)

How can I say no to an evil Plan like that? Yes, do it for Canonfire then. I am speculating this 'plan' has something to do with your timeline advancing CY 645 article on CF?

As for requests in/around the Domain. Okay, has Janaquil Valley been done? Or Echo Crypt? There ya go! :D

Hey Paul... well ya see, there is the REAL Doomgrinder, which is still sitting there mysteriously of course, just like any self-respecting ancient mystery should be doing. Then there is the copy that someone built a few miles away to either honor the original, to neutralize the original, or to lure unsuspecting foo...err... visitors away from the original, to the copy, and to their own doom. Or, if you go by my personal campaign "canon", the version from the mod just never existed.

If I have the time, I could do something on Canonfire, if you like. Like the Cylons - I have a Plan. ;)

Uh oh.

And what's wrong with Abba?

I was wondering that myself... Abba rocks!

Oh, and the Doomgrinder is currently parked just outside the wall to the northeast of Greyhawk; the dao and efreeti have been sent to their respective planes (so it'll never move again), and the device has been stripped of its weapons and treasure, except for one bone melter, a flesh eater and a shadow thrower for wizards and sages to study; the derro were easily defeated with several cloudkills, and the bodies disposed of long before Doomgrinder was driven to it's destination. It's been leased to Nerof Gasgal and the Directing Oligarchy, who have inexpensive daily tours conducted through a small section of it while wizards and sages study its construction...

Obviously, things in my campaign are a lot different than most...;)

Nope - the DG retcon doesn't have anything to do with 645 CY.

Mysterious Places - watch this space.

And as for Abba - if they were food, they'd be fermented herrings, which also come from Sweden.

Coincidence? I think not. :D
