Ok folks I have been trying to figure out the way kings age's work for almost 16 years, so would someone be kind enough to explain them to me? Its sort of important as I would like my next campaign to take place 8 kings ages after free year 11. Which I believe is the 190th kings age.

Thanks in advance

I don't have all the details memorized, but I can describe the basic idea behind it for you.

A King's Age is based on the Cycles of the two moons of Athas, Ral & Guthay. One of the moons has a 7 year cycle it goes through changing in position in the sky, the other an 11 year cycle. Names are given to each year of each cycle and the combination of the two different names gives you the name of any particular year within a King's Age (for example: Wind's Reverence). Once ever 77 years the two moon's come into perfect alignment and the cycles begin again in unison, this is a King's Age.

So to your question simply: A King's Age is 77 years. 8 King's Ages would be about 600-620 years.
