I am looking for the stats, if any are available, on having either a rabbit or a hare familiar.

I believe there are variant rules for having a rabbit familiar in the DMG, but you have to play a Small character.

Good luck with the Sorcerer. I'm gonna be playing a Kender Wizard (pre-test) it's gonna be great. He's named after his "Uncle" Raistlin :D

What time period? What robes is he looking to get?

My little kender, Pentrian Wabbittwaks, is da bomb. They are going through the KOD and when the devil in the temple tried to leave the door, the kender was able to keep him from leaving. The creture chraged and I rolled high enough so that it was knocked back like 5 feet. HOORAY FOR PENTRIAN the Legion Sorcerer, soon to be Rouge and Uncle.

Well Raistlin Nimbleknucks will probably go for the Red robes but he could persuaded to take Black if it goes that way. He's morbidly curious since his mother was a Nightstalker, so he's been hearing about dead folks his whole life. Necromancy might be something he'd get into just so he can have some buddies to listen to his stories lol.

Edit: Oh I forgot, it's the age of mortals, post return of the gods. I'm gonna be travelling with a Knight, a Mystic, and a Sorceror.

An evil kender? Is he an afflicted kender?

He's true Neutral but his curiousity for the more "forbidden" arts could drive him to the black robes. He's a regular Kender but his curiousity is more morbid than most, and he has some troubles in his past despite being a non-afflicted Kender.

It's a bit of a stretch, but I do remember a children's story book based in DL where the main character was a Black Robed Kender Wizard. I doubt it was canon though...

Anyone know where I can find the bunny stats?

Dragon magazine #341 had a list of new alternate familiars. The rabbit is listed as giving a +3 bonus to Listen checks, and it's suggested that you use the cat statistics for the rabbit.

There's also a rabbit in Oriental Adventures, as one of the alternate forms for the hengeyokai, so you could check that if you wanted more accurate stats.

Cheers,
Cam
