Apart from the Pristine Tower and the Dark Lens, what are the most powerful/important artifacts in Athas, and what do they 'do'?

The three swords Rajaat made. Kal's sig has some of them. One of them is in DA 3.

Pennarin is working on some stuff to, I think.

Course, the most powerful stuff is still buried in the sands, waiting to be discovered...

As written by Bruno - and I agreed with it fully - the Lens and Psionatrix are the most powerful portable artifacts on Athas, that we know of. Someone can make a Knowledge check with a high DC to uncover new uses for those artifacts, uses beyond those uncovered in the novels and game material.

There's also the Orphic Flower, which is pretty damn powerful in itself, and more so when given to an already-epic character.

Surely the Tower is the most powerful artifact of all, capable of affecting the entire planet.

The Dark Lens, the Psionatrix, the three swords Rajaat forged, the Planar Gate, and the Galdra are the most potent artifacts of which I am aware. I don't count the Pristine Tower so much as an artifact as opposed to a magical location.

Galdra? Sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it.

Galdra is the Elven Sword that once belonged to Coraanu. It is featured in the Tribe of One series. Its power was mostly implied, but it's really old and shatters most other weapons on contact.

Stop referencing things that are not public yet, or at least say that you are referencing things the public can't know yet.

What! How the heck did I get dragged into this!

YOU asked ME to send you my story, remember. And to add to that, you would have had more time if you would not have decided that you were going to enter the contest too. So :P

Valid points, all...I guess *puts down the scroll of bestow curse*

Man, if you only knew for how long that project is in the work that you wouldn't ever have taken it personal. ;)

There's very little that I take personally, especially now that I've been informed (in another thread) that I'm only supposed to do "personal" things after I've already met everyone else's expectations.

And anyway - the whole point of me pretending to take offense at something was simply so that I could whine and thus point out that I'm working on athas.org and other stuff, drawing attention to my uber-ness, that's all.
Is that too much to ask?

For my part I think the most powerfull artifact on Athas other then the 2 mentionned in the first post is what makes a dragon king .... a dragon king (Other then the vortex link) So, the Orbs of Kalid-Ma is for me the most or at least one of the most powerfull artifact. I would guess that a wizard/psionisist in possession of all 5 orbs and the proper 10 th level spells could become a Dragon King witch makes the orbs in itself quite powerfull indeed.
Of course each orbs possess powers individualy but the artifact is at its apex when the wielder possess them all.

I admit that while i'm writing this post I keep asking miself if there is an other artifact that's more powerfull then the Orb

Many of you know about it but since in game turms , player seldom have the opportunity to use it since it cannot be moved, we have tendency to forget about it. I present/remind you The Last Tree. Althought it is quite powerfull in itself as an artifact... it should be considered even more priceless because of what it is: a blue age artifact with the knowledge of that age. --knowledge is power.
