Are you referring to the Tarokka Deck, the Ravenloft Spellfire cards, or the TSR Collector cards?

Woah, the TSR collector cards. Now those were an old, old establishment that never seemed to take off.

Lost Heretic was making a joke, comparing collectable TSR trading cards to baseball cards. Have you determined what type of cards you have? We don't need a scan, just the name on one of the cards will do.

I tried to buy a Tarokka Deck on ebay once. Turned out to be Spellfire: Master the Magic tarokka deck card. Har Har TSR. Joke's on me.

I still have mine. :D See if you can find the Ravenloft DM's Guide that Arthaus released several years ago. It has rules for using the cards. Also, if you can locate the gorgeous (and larger) Tarokka deck that Talon designed at that time, there's a mini-guide inside. I found one of the newer decks on eBay, so you might have similar luck.

Thx a lot for the help, but i was hoping more for a little guide or a link to a web page. And if I had the old DMs guide or the card guide believe me I wont.

And yes they are the Tarokka cards

Know I think i forgot to tell you something:

Yes they are Tarokka cards, but they are from AD&D: second edition, are they any different? does they have a different set of rules?

Thanks in advance

Sorry for Double posting

The rules are pretty much the same, although there was some renaming in the High Deck (Darklord -> Dark Master; Donjon -> Prison; Ghost -> Spirit) and the Esper card was replaced with The Hero (a sort of "good fortune" card). The 3e rules also give interpretations for when the cards are reversed, in line with the usual reading of Tarot Cards; at the risk of sounding self-serving, there are rules for reversed 2nd edition cards, written by me, in the the Book of Sacrifices netbook.

Oh, and if you get a chance to snag the newer deck, do; they have really nice Talon Dunning art and I prefer the back design (a plain sort of argyle-like pattern, rather than the Ravenloft logo which I find a bit of a mood disruptor).
