Well I can tell you that mul's do not belong on that list, while very rare they do date back to the green age. Also Silt Runners are intelligent.

Off the top of my head there are also:

Gith
Scrabs
Bog Waders
B'rohgs
Hej-kins
Sand Brides
T'Chowbs
Thraxs
High Driks
Sligs
Dark Spiders
Ssurrans
Tul'Ks

Not to mention the actual "New Races" made every day from those unfortunate people who happen to stray too close to the Pristine Tower...

Are these dark spiders half giant sized spiders which are also intelligent and can speak? I know it isn't canon, but the Shattered Lands Dark Sun PC game has a race of spiders like what I described. Also there is a race of halfling-like creatures called Mindhome. Looks like the Age of Sorceror Kings/Brown Age brought about even more races than the Rebirth!

And Sligs? I know of a race called them in the Abe's Oddysee, Oddworld computer game.

If I remember correctly, the Dark Spiders are somewhat smallish, they tend to sing, and tend to work with the Halflings in the jungles. They were mentioned in the Prism Pentad.

Sligs in Dark Sun are not like that from Abe's World.

Sligs were also in the 1st darksun computer game. The 2nd darksun monster compendium took a bunch of monsters from the 1st darksun computer game and introduced them into pnp darksun. Sadly mindhome never made it in. Oh and as far as I know the 1st darksun computer game got the idea for sligs from dragonlance, or at least that is the 1st place I remember seeing them.

It's been a long time since I read the books. I'm going off of very dusty, old memories. I haven't really had the time to refresh my memories at all as of late.

I was wondering if it would be possible to get pdfs of some of the books, as I want to quote some stuff from them. There was a Kalak quote I'd like to use for my signature. I'll start looking.

Wrong Spiders.

My mistake then. They say that hearing is the 2nd thing to go with old age. I don't remember the first...

Which quote - the one where he is like "Quit kicking me!" or "I have a 'splitting' headach." or my personal favorite "I'm the king and I got big, obsidian balls!"

The Terrors of Athas sourcebook states that Thrax are the result of an ancient curse.
