Do you ever use the Gentleman Caller in your games? If so, how does he act, look, sound?

Even if you don't, what do you think ole' GC is? A dark power? A darklord? A regular man who'd really sneaky?

I ask because I've been toying with the idea of making the Gentleman Caller show up at the end of my EtCR game as a way to lead the PCs into the bigger Grand Conjunction campaign.

The Gentleman Caller and his goals can technically be whatever you want them to.

"Officially", though, he is an incubus who at present wanders about the demiplane knocking up various mortal women with his hellspawn. His ultimate goals were never revealed but it is likely that whatever they are they'll be rather bad.

His 2nd Ed. stats are in Van Richten's Monster Hunter's Compendium vol. III

More information on him can be found at The Fraternity of Shadows FAQ.

I know the main premise of the Gentleman Caller, but little else. My DM is going to be using him as a main villian for a member of our group in which none of us will be able to help him. I love to mess with him by saying, "your so screwed!" and nothing else, it kills him because he doesn't know what I am talking about.

Also, I do believe the leader of the Carnaval is hunting him. The mists always warn him by posting hand bills all over the town announcing their arrival so he can skip out of town.

Here's a thread about playing the GC on the FoS site:
http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2885

Stats for him can be found in Quoth the Raven 7. The article on him provides 4 different versions of his supposed 3e stats are posted. Normal incubus (i.e male SRD succubus), advanced incubus, incubus with some sorcerer levels and advanced incubus with some sorcerer levels His corruption index is 3. His landbased power is suggestion and his reality wrinkle a 1,320 foot- radius.

True dat, son. Isolde (The Carnie Queen) is a force of nature in her own right. If you or your DM can track down a copy of the 2E accessory Carnival, I highly recommend it.

Any chance on getting current stats on this unique incubus? From what I understand, he also has done many power rituals. I remember reading that Isolde is hunting him, but surely there has to be something that takes more about their relationship. Personally, I think his goal is to create as many hellspawn as he can, possiblely in an effort to use them to either escape or take over control of the demiplane.

Just check out Quoth the Raven #7 on the Fraternity of Shadows website. I don't think I can post copywrited (copywritten?) material here otherwise I'd post his 2E stats so you could convert them.

His 2E stats are the standard 2E stats for an incubus. Only the corruption index, landbased power and reality wrinkle are extraordinary.

Now speaking of incubus stats, now that there are official 3E incubus stats in Dragon 353 (in the Malcanthet article) that are (very) different from the 3E succubus, would a build based on them be very different than the one in QtR#7 ?

Take a look at Steve MillerĀ“s website. He is the co-creator of the GC and his message boards are full of cool discussions involving the character.
