In the Outlands there is the Realm of the Norns. The only info I can find about the Norns is that they are from Norse mythology. Maybe I overlooked it, but I couldn't find info about Norns in any Ysgard references.

A search online told me the Norns are 3 Norse goddesses that come from Asgard. Are the Norns mentioned in more detail in any of the PS books?

The Norns are the three fates, Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld. They're described in more detail in 2e Legends & Lore, and in On Hallowed Ground, but hey, here's a Wikipedia article.

They don't dwell in Ysgard, but a root of Yggdrasil touches their realm - you can get to Ysgard using that.

Yeah they do, in the Realm of the Norns on the Outlands. That's the only reason I found out about Norns was because of the Realm in the Outlands. But I couldn't find anything about what the Norns were...just that they had a realm :P

I'll go check On Hallowed Ground

Oops, heh, I didn't read your original post properly.

There's also a brief mention of them in Dead Gods, which (I think) places the realm in the 6th ring. I think that was about the extent of it, though, and I don't know if it is always/only in the 6th ring.

That's actually the reason I asked the question :P

I'm running Dead Gods and it mentioned the Norns but didn't explain who/what they were.

2nd edition Legends & Lore is available for download on the previous editions downloads page. There's a description of the Norns there.
