I know that there's a couple out there, 2 I think but, are they worth playing?
Also, does anyone have or know of a working DS mod for NWN(2)? I saw pieces of a few but they never seem to be finished.

The DS games are REALLY old. I don't think they run properly on WinXP.
That being said, I've seen evidence of a new game being produced. If you search around a bit, I'm sure you can find something on it.

The Dark Sun games, Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager, came out in 1993 and 1994 respectively. They do not work properly in Win95 or later as they were designed for DOS and run on conventional memory. You need to download DOSBox (and preferably the DFend front end for it) in order to run those games on your computer. Shattered Lands is definitely worth playing, though it is a bit primitive by modern standards. Wake of the Ravager is horrible... and that's BEFORE I start talking about "the bug."

Shattered Lands is one of my favorite games ever. It is indeed a bit outdated, but is still an excellent game if you like RPGs. There's tons of little things that you can just keep discovering. I've had the game for ten years, and I've played through it a dozen times, and I still find little tidbits that I'd missed before.

Wake of the Ravager isn't as good, it has several bugs (Though I've never stumbled onto any of them somehow), and the graphics seem to have less effort put into them, yet I like the story a helluvalot more. However, there don't seem to be many cool little hidden things like its predecessor... unless I keep missing them.

And yes, you need to use DosBox, though they always ran fine on my old win98 system.

-Shattered Lands- is a classic, hands down.

-Wake of the Ravager- was awful... not so much as a D&D computer game, but the story authors missed the Dark Sun boat by a mile... umber hulks, cloud giants and the like, if I remember right...

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. The whole feel of the game was absolutely awful. The story was equally bad in my opinion: oh, look, the Lord Warrior is trying to summon THE TARRASQUE behind the Dragon's back while the Dragon is trying to claim Tyr for himself now that Kalak is dead! Feh. Shattered Lands had a much better plot in my opinion, something that was at least more believable.

Assuming that the setting allows such things, what is the "lord warrior" expecting the Tarrasque to do against the Dragon?

-Shattered Lands- just hit the setting right on the mark, IMO. Start out as slaves in the fighting pits of Draj, make your escape into the deserts and join the slave tribe... I'd like to go play it again, just talking about it!

Worth noting also that many of the critters found in the Terrors of Athas compendium originally came from the game: psurlons, tari, mastyrials, dune reapers... Dagolar slimes!!

One thing with Wake of the Ravager:

It runs at a speed based on the clock speed of your computer. And it was designed when computers ran a LOT slower. So the timed events (e.g., the fight in the volcano) are kind of impossible.

I found a website that's hosting the files as abandonware, but the .zip is corrupted. Anyone know where else I can find it?

While at the moment it's down because of a power supply failure, I'm actually a builder on this persistent world & have been actively playing there for over 2 years. At Athas Reborn we are striving to stay as close as possible in NWN to 3.5 Edition Dark Sun while maintaining a fun environment for RP & PvP.

Some of Athas Reborn's features:

Gladiators, Psions & Draqomen as prestige classes.

Half-giant, thri-kreen, aarakocra, tari, etc player races.

A Defiling system based on 3.5 Dark Sun.

New elemental & Templar domains.

A water/thirst system.

Epic level challenges.

Hundreds of changes to existing classes, monsters, & spells.

If anyone is interested I will post again when the repairs are complete.

What's bad about them? I just extracted them with WinRAR with no problems.

It's up right now, I've been killing off Hamanu's half-giant shock troops for most of the evening. :D I'm not sure why you are having such a hard time connecting.

Do you see the server on GameSpy at all?
